Crafty Chicks Sparkling Holidays Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafty Chicks Sparkling Holidays Blog Hop! There are an amazing group of creative ladies here and I am so honored to take part in this awesome hop! If you have come from Scrappin Madge then you are at the right place! If you are just stopping by, please be sure to start at the beginning of the hop with Elizabeth-our amazing sponsor-so you are able to enjoy all of the amazing creations!

You will have an opportunity to win some amazing prizes from Elizabeth Mindemann! A HUGE thank you to Elizabeth for being our sponsor this month!!!

Now, onto my creations!
Holidays can be crazy as I am sure you already know. Sometimes you may want to give a handmade or homemade gift such as a knitted scarf, baked goods or even a beautiful frame with a family picture inside. Well, I ALWAYS forget to get tissue paper to wrap these delicate items. I HAVE A SOLUTION! I have created these stamps that are very versatile not only for the holidays but for any time!

I used these stamps as background stamps so that I could dress up some plain white tissue paper for a gift. It's really a simple creation and only takes a few minutes! All you need is white (or whatever color you prefer) tissue paper, ink (whichever colors you would like to use that you have on hand) and your stamps!

This is what I started with

I inked the stamp with blue and then stamped the image I chose on the white tissue paper.

I then cleaned my stamp and inked the image with the silver ink.

Now you have some decorative tissue paper for packages for the holidays. You can use any color with this image to celebrate birthday, anniversary or anything! I love the simplicity and how elegant it comes out :)

I also used this stamp set to create a background paper for a creation I am planning on making! Nothing like saving some time by making some additional creations while I have all of the items I need out :)
I also created a gift tag with some scraps because who doesn't like to use up some scraps!

Thank you for hopping along and hopefully you enjoyed my projects! I am the last stop on the hop so I hope you enjoyed the amazing talent and projects you have seen!! Good Luck on the amazing giveaway from Elizabeth!!  I hope you win :)

I hope you have a wonderfully CREATIVE day!

NEW RELEASE AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE & NAUGHTY AND NICE SET, GIVEAWAY & BLOG HOP ENDS!

If you are visiting here for the Crafty Chicks Blog Hop, Please go here to my post :)
HI! Thank you for visiting!! I am SO VERY EXCITED to share the AMAZING STAMPS WE ARE RELEASING!!!!  I REALLY love both sets. I loved working with them! Hopefully you will like the projects I have created AND will be inspired to get yourself a set or two (or three) and share your amazing creations with US :)
Here the FIRST of the two sets- Sign Language Alphabet - American Sign Language stamp set.
The sign language alphabet (also known as finger spelling way back in my day) is very near and dear to my heart. Deafness runs in my family. Both of my Grandparents were deaf due to illness. (German Measles & Spinal Meningitis) However, my Grandfather's sister was born deaf but unfortunately passed away at the age of 12. My brother is also deaf. He was born deaf and I have known sign language for as long as I can remember. At my wedding, my brother was one of the groomsmen and we had a sign language interpreter for the wedding. I always knew it was a beautiful language but to have it at our wedding was really stunning. I can't tell you how many compliments I received with regard to the beauty of it. This stamp set is VERY versitile. You can use it the same way you would use any alphabet set. Because the letter the sign represents is below, even someone that isn't familiar with sign language at all would be able to read it. They might even pick up how to sign a letter or two! Here is a creation I made with this set. There are more projects and ideas on our website and Facebook page.

The second set we are releasing is Naughty or Nice.

Now for the GIVEAWAYS!!! I will be doing three giveaways! Our amazingly gracious donations have been donated by Megan Elizabeth aka Above Rubies Studio, May Arts Ribbon and Glue Dots so look for the GIVEAWAY information on my BUSINESS FACEBOOK PAGE. Be sure to check out our website for our stamps!!!

I hope you have a wonderfully CREATIVE day!
