Halloween Birthday Card

Hi Crafty Friends!
I created this card for a friend of mine. She needed a Halloween birthday card so I used a CTMH stamp set, I don't recall who makes the paper but when I find out I will correct this post, copic markers, Queen and co bling, font for sentiment, scraps for solid colored paper, stampin' Up! border punch, The Twinery twine and voila! You have this card :) I hope everyone has a fun and SAFE Halloween!!
I hope you have a wonderfully CREATIVE day!

Card for Jackie

Hi Crafty Friends!
Sadly, the summer is soon coming to an end and school is starting for my kids. I just love having them home but I know they are looking forward to school and seeing their friends on a more regular basis :) Maybe the brighter side is that I may be able to create more which is something I really enjoy doing.

I created this card for one of my BFF's -Jackie- for her birthday. She is SUPER crafty and talented to I really needed to step up my game...I really loved working with the material for the flower. It was a pretty thick white cotton with fantastic texture. I added some glue and glitter as well as rhinestones from Want2Scrap to give it a little bling, cut the card with my Cricut and my Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cartridge, used my glitter Spica pen to add the sparkly dots on the card,  a Stampin' Up! Stamp & punch for the sentiment. From my stash I used the leaves and the, red, white and black card stock. I would love to hear your thoughts on this project. If you are interested in purchasing the Cricut cartridge that I used to create this, which is AMAZING I MUST ADD, please click here and it will take you to a friend of mine's website that can hook you up with it as well as a BRAND NEW AMAZING Cricut cart called Artiste. YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!! Well, your budget might... LOL Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for visiting!

Father's Day Cards

Hi Crafty Friends!

MY HOW TIME FLIES!! I thought I would post something since it has been a while. School is out, we had our annual garage sale and I am sick but I had some pictures of a few cards I made for Father's Day so I thought I would share! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy a nice Father's Day celebration with your loved ones!
The top card was made with Stampin' Up stamps and the bottom card was made with
Close to my Heart Stamps and Stampin' Up Stamps. Additional supplies I used were Copic markers, Memento black ink, fishing line and my McGill ticket punch.

An Oldie but a Goodie

Soooo... I have been getting ready like C-R-A-Z-Y for a garage sale for the past couple weeks and today (it is past 1 AM!) is THE DAY!!! YAHOOOOO!!!!  My close friend Robin (she is also my next door neighbor and walking buddy) and I do this every year and although it is A LOT OF WORK, I think secretly we like to do it because we have fun doing it together.. The great news is we have it down to a science being that we have done our annual garage sale for almost a decade now! So although I don't have a "new" project to show you cuz I can't find the Father's Day card I made that I wanted to post - hopefully I won't be selling it by accident tomorrow! LOL I am "getting rid of old stuff" so I am posting one of my favorite "older" cards. With all of the clothes and stuff we have, Robin has quite a bit of baby stuff so it made me think of this card. Really quite simple to make but I really loved it and was honored that I was asked by my other friend Robin (yes I have two very close friends by the name of Robin) to make a card for her nephews "welcome baby" gift and this is what I came up with.  I used the Sizzix BIGZ baby carriage card die, C1, C3, C5 Copic markers, CTMH blue paper & patterned paper from the animal cookies collection, a white ribbon, string and a blue button. I hope you like it! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!
