Basketball Card

Good Morning Crafty Friends!
I hope you are enjoying your Sunday! I was asked to create a custom card for our basketball coach as a thank you for all of his hard work and dedication. I used my gypsy to add the basketball team name to the jersey and then cut out the basket ball uniform as well as the basketball and shadow of the basketball. I cut out the letters, number sign and number out of the same red that I used for the uniform. The background paper with the net I had in my stash and added it to the card front. This was the final card. I hope you enjoy it and thanks so much for visiting today! Have a wonderful day and may today and every day take you on A CREATIVE JOURNEY!

Our Christmas Card 2011

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
May 2012 bring you all of the health, love, happiness, joy
and prosperity you have ever hoped for and MORE :)

So, onto some creativity!
Every year we have a family meeting and decide what we are
going to do for our Christmas card. We have been creating
cards for Christmas like this for a number of years.
This one I think is our best one yet!

Projects using K Andrews stamps :)

Good Morning!  I wanted to show you some projects I made recently... I made these to apply for K Andrews design team. Although I didn't make it and am thrilled for those that did get that honor, I wanted to show you what I made. I used the food for thought set and you can see how versatile it is... The last card is a die cut from Sizzix that is a rotating card so that each box has a different phrase in it- I used K Andrews Stamps which you can find here,  Bo Bunny,  my stash of flowers and bling, Quick Quotes chalk ink, Prima butterfly, string, my cricut, my gypsy (baby), heat gun, ranger embossing powder, sand block (to bring out more texture of the orange) and I am sure I am missing something but I can't remember what!  Have a wonderful weekend! I am taking a copic class with the amazing Jennie Black and I can't wait!
Have a wonderful day and thanks for taking the time to visit me!

NO NEWS yet, BLOG HOP THIS THURSDAY & A Sympathy Card...

We are getting ready to head home after our WONDERFUL family vacation visiting my Uncle in San Diego :) It's our last vacation before school starts so we ALWAYS enjoy coming and have a great time!!

I just wanted to share a few things...

No news yet on the DT results but I wish everyone luck! There were over 200 applicants for 10 positions! WOW!

PLEASE be sure to check back here where
I am participating in a FOUR DAY BACK TO SCHOOL BLOG HOP on THURSDAY, August 11th :) That's FOUR days of different projects every day and OF COURSE I WILL BE GIVING AWAY BLOG CANDY :)

Unfortunately, I have been having problems getting the url for the blinkie to work from the coordinator of this  blog hop so I am hoping it will be sent to me in working order by then! LOL

On a side note, one of my BFF's here in California had asked me to create a card for her. This card was to be given to a friend that had lost her horse. If you know my friend M, you would know that her horses are just like her kids-very dear to her heart. Albeit bitter sweet, I thought I would show you the card I made.
They were made with Stampin' Up! stamps,
Tim Holtz Distress Ink,  DCWV paper and some fiber.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for taking the time to visit me!
And as always, make today and every day A CREATIVE JOURNEY :)
